It’s winter in Wisconsin
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Wisconsin
When the snow’s up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I’ll hang around
I could never leave Wisconsin
I’m frozen to the ground!

Eternal Kiss
Too you, my love.
All my days have come to this,
One simple little kiss.
Only you would know my pain,
All these years I’ve waited in vain.
Closing my eyes touching your lips,
It was nothing but perpetual bliss.
I can’t believe it’s come to this,
As I realize something’s amiss.
As I watch you in your peaceful slumber
As they place you under.
Under ground no more to see,
What this violent world has brought to me.

Song of the Season
Mystified by the undertone of the song,
Enthralled by the escalating music that does not belong.
Steadfast yet fragile the lyrics did trickle from her mouth,
Murky yet blissful and oh so strong.
The song of the Robin with no will to live
And how I wish I could only forgive.
Entangled in this fearless bout,
Something I wish I could only relive.
In the Midst of this wondrous bird
As it strives to be heard.
While there is no doubt,
That it will not be deterred.
When it beats its wings,
As this song it sings.
As it flies on its simple route
Hence, the end of spring.

As I type these words, I can not begin.
To tell the turmoil, America is in.
We have heard people’s voices, from gate to shining gate.
But have we, set our own fate.
Has this unlawful destruction brought us together.
Or torn us apart from those around us, forever.
God has been there for everyone, by and by.
Who chose the path less traveled by.
If we could only understand, what God plans.
There are reasons for everything, understand.
America stands weighing for that ultimate count.
Flags flying on every mount.
Americans unite to form a bond.
Of every lasting love and norm.
And as we look threw the ruble,
Remember were not the ones in trouble.
