Oak Island…
Oh, the joys of a simple vacation. This is something we needed very much. We enjoyed ourselves for the 4 and a half days we were there. On Sunday we just relaxed for the half day we were there. Then on Monday we slept-in and then went to the beach and road around the Island and visited the sites. Then on Tuesday we took the ferry to Wilmington where we went to a small little Asian store to buy supplies for that nights dinner. Although it is typed in a few sentences this took many hours to accomplish. This was a 6 hour trek that in the end cost us a day of no beach time. Overall we only had about 6 hours on the beach. Yet, we loved every minute of our trip. We spent time with my Sister Megan, and her mother Chell. We enjoy our time with both of them and I love my sister very much. She will soon get what God has planned for her. Which we will all be very proud of her.
More to come…

Ok, finally we have decided the date of our wedding. We are going to have the ceremony on April 24, 2010. That will be the day that two worlds become one. Where no matter what our differences, no matter how many people do not like the fact that we are not of the same race, color, or creed, no matter how much we go through, we will be one love on this day. We are having a small get together with family and only a few friends. More to come soon…
We are planing a trip… A trip to Las Vegas… And unlike the slogan “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” I will be blogging about it. This is a blog site after all. I know I do not write on here as much as I should. But hey, it is something to do when I am board. And I am sure that I will be doing more of it once I find that spot I like to write about. Anyway, our trip will be in December through January… We will be enjoying the Spas and Casions and such. Never been at the age where I could gamble… Should be very intresting to see what Vegas has to offer. We are staying at the Lexor the Pyrmid. It is going to be great… I will post updates as the time comes closer…

Or at least I thought it was…
Well, we set the wedding day yesterday… But, it turns out that she has something else in mind… A trip to Laos before we get married… Why the trip??? Well, she wants to go half way around the world to buy her Wedding Dress and my Wedding Costume. Her dress will be made of Silk and so colorful and the only way I can discribe my costume, is by you taking a trip back in time… Remember MC Hammer? You know the pants he used to wear? The ones that were big at the bottom and had a small waste. That is my Wedding costume. Do not get me wrong, I want this. I have never wanted a tradistional American Wedding… I have always wanted something different. Now, the dress and my costume is not the only reason for the trip. We would also go to get the table cloths (pure silk in peacock pattern) and also the wedding gifts given to the guests… So, not only do we pay 2k per person flight and around 1.5k for gifts, dress, and other things while we are there. She has also moved the date of the wedding… To 2010! Because her brother is getting married in 2009 and you can not have a brother and sister marry in the same year. But a sister and a sister or a brother and a brother are ok to marry in the same year. I am not happy with it, yet, I am happy with making her happy. Thus, I agreed. So, I will spend the extra 6k to do as she wishes.
The last post I made is not correct. For one Vanna pointed out (again) that I can not spell. Is that not the worst thing you have ever heard??? English is her second Lang and she is correcting my spelling… Yet, alas, she is correct. I have never being able to spell. I remember wishing I could be sick every Friday in Elem. School, because those were Spelling Test days. And I would ALWAYS get an F… But anyway, back to the topic at hand. I was wrong about not wanting to go to the friends house for New Years Eve. She cooked Greens, Mac & Cheese, and her sister made Polish Meatballs which were fantastic. And I really did have a good time. I am not one to drink that much, only started drinking a year and 2 months ago, and I did not drink New Years Eve either. Yet, I did have a sip or two on New Years Day. The party was really fun. We talked played “Spoons” and had a really good time. Vanna and I kissed at the stroke of midnight, and I could feel her love for me. Even though I did not let her know it.
But anyway, the lesson that was learned from this is that you never know
what to expect, even from those that never fail to amaze you or do fail. Life is a circle, yet sometimes it can stray in a straight line.
Happy New Year
Always,
Sir AGE
